There are many ways to support the wood including liking our Facebook Group<\/a>, using your creative and digital skills, spreading the word about what we are doing, helping out in the Parish Council area of the wood, making donations and being ready to do what you can to protect the wood.<\/p>\n

If you are interested in supporting in any way please contact sophie@frithwoodfriends.org.uk<\/a><\/p>\n

If you are interested in volunteering, please click here<\/a>  You don’t have to have any background in woods or the outdoors – volunteers have all sorts of backgrounds and enjoy a relaxed time doing something useful with other friendly people. <\/p>\n

We are linked to ChalCAN<\/a>, Chalford’s Climate Action Network and many of us belong to ChalCAN too. We are grateful for its support.<\/p>\n

FOFW works under an agreement with Chalford Parish Council<\/a> as owners of an area of the wood. We are grateful for its trust and assistance.<\/p>\n

We are funded through Gloucestershire County Council’s ‘Build Back Better’ Councillor Fund, with the support of Cllr Chloe Turner. We are also grateful for support from Cotswolds Natural Landscape (formerly the AONB) and funding it manages that comes from DEFRA (central government). <\/p>\n
