In 2022 we enjoyed:<\/strong><\/em><\/h4>
  • Volunteer working parties<\/li>
  • A celebration of the longest day of the year in June. We are not religious or political, but we enjoyed learning about Druid customs at the solstice.\u00a0<\/li>
  • A ‘Moth Breakfast’ where we looked at moths found overnight near the wood.\u00a0<\/li>
  • A celebration weekend in September with our first awards, the scattering of bluebell seeds and a visit from our forester Mike Hartnell.\u00a0<\/li><\/ul>

    A celebration of the shortest day of the year in December.\u00a0<\/p>

    In 2023 we are looking forward to:<\/em><\/h4>
    • The opening of our first nature sanctuary and improvements to the main entrance to the wood.\u00a0<\/li>
    • Our first bird and bat boxes.\u00a0<\/li>
    • More volunteer work!<\/li>
    • And possibly…<\/li>
    • A dawn chorus walk in May<\/li>
    • Stargazing<\/li>
    • Art events inspired by the wood…
