Liz Baldwin – Chair of FOFW. After a varied career which included being an operating theatre nurse and a fisheries scientist Liz took early retirement to spend more time walking, weaving, gardening and enjoying life in Chalford. She does a lot of the admin for the charity, including building this website with help from her husband Jerry.
Dr Sophie Carabine –
Sophie lives next to Frith Wood. She has been the CEO of The National Forest, a community-based forest in the Midlands. She has also chaired TREE AID which works in some of the harshest places on earth, using trees to counter poverty and climate change. She was the first female President of the Royal Forestry Society and has an OBE for services to the environment. She has a background in disabilities and teaches at the University of Gloucestershire.
